There really is a dearth of information to help people decide which dietary supplement to take," says professor Macfarlane, an expert in functional neurosurgery at Nottingham University, UK.
One such supplement is "Vitamin E" — a derivative extract of the oil-rich seeds sunflower plant, found in a vast array the food supply. One of the more controversial health interventions in the US is "natural healing" supplements made by a company called Natural Remedies.
It sells both dietary supplements for the prevention of
